M. Marin: So, AI, I think you can’t watch the news without hearing something about AI. I don’t know if anyone else saw some AI actress, AI AI-derived actress that is threatening the real Hollywood actresses. So, AI spans a broad spectrum. Your focus, I believe, is on industry.
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, exactly. We are curious about other industries as well. I have tried to make a digital twin of myself. I have a whole executive team to me with agents, AI agents, who work with all the social media compliance questions and financial analyzing, and so on. You can operate with AI in any piece you want, I would say.
M. Marin: Okay, that said, can you give us a little bit more color on the relationship with NVIDIA? Do you see that as potentially opening market opportunities?
Mattias Bergkvist: Today, NVIDIA is the player in the AI field, so to speak. And we have been an Elite Partner to NVIDIA since 2016. And we actually are the only one in Northern Europe who is SuperPOD-certificated. And as I said before, SuperPOD is a large solution for NVIDIA. As a concept. It started with 25 million dollars, perhaps, and we are the only one who is certified to work with those kinds of solutions. It’s a huge possibility, but I would say there is always someone behind. We’re looking at the industries, and we can see that maybe we’ll read about it this week, OpenAI, set an agreement with AMD. I think it’s a good company in the chip environment. They also have the Supermicro and Intel. So, there’s more to come, I would say.
M. Marin: Okay, I’m switching topics now. You recently made an announcement about Webland. Can you give us some color on that and what your strategy is vis-à-vis strategic M&A?
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, we have done this with a local company in Sweden. Both Webland and a company we bought in the summer, WhiteRed, an IT company. Quite traditional, but the culture is similar to us. We can stretch our main business, but we can also increase the AI business for these customers. So that’s the plan.
M. Marin: And in terms of strategic M&A, do you think that that will be a part of your strategy to complement your organic growth?
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, but the next one I would say, I don’t know, but I can’t say that, but we’re looking at an AI company and not in Gothenburg or maybe not in Sweden as well. So yeah, we’re looking all the time.
M. Marin: That makes sense. So that said, you know, with AI being so top of mind, there are perhaps a lot of market entrants that are trying to, you know, leverage AI without really having the strategy or the strategic assets. Do you foresee consolidation within the space over time?
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, the market is quite in chaos right now. Everyone should invest. The European market invests a lot. You have seen it in the US. And every country wants to have their own plan. It’s happening a lot. The market changes from day to day, and we are quite flexible, so we’re trying to be a part of it.
M. Marin: Okay, I have one more question, and then I’ll open it to the floor in case there are other questions. You put up an interesting slide. You had Ericsson, you had Acne Studios, you had…
Mattias Bergkvist: Volvo and AstraZeneca, yeah.
M. Marin:Obviously, you’re adding people with Webland and potentially other acquisitions. Do you believe that with your current team, you have the capacity to expand that focus?
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, we are particularly in the private sector, but we’re looking at the public sector as well. We struggle with that question all the time. We are 60 people, but we can handle projects that are very big. For many eyes too big for us, but it’s not true. We can handle a lot of big projects. Our agreement and collaboration with Handelsbanken, who’s here today, we have good support from them to take the big charts.
M. Marin: Okay, thank you. Any questions from the audience?
Audience Member: What do you see in terms of future revenue streams for you?
Mattias Bergkvist: Yeah, of course, we want to increase the revenue in support and SaaS solutions, and our software, AiQu, is a part of this one. That’s why we have developed it from only a schedulator to an orchestrator to now being a whole platform for AI, applied AI, or bespoke AI, in a whole different environment or industries.
Audience Member: And how much of your total revenue share do you think is coming from that?
Mattias Bergkvist: Today it’s 20 to 40 percent, but we will see that it’s coming up to 50, 60 percent.
