Vadzo Imaging Validates Onboard ISP on Falcon-521CRS: Onsemi AR0521 Color 5MP Low-Noise USB 3.2 Gen1 Camera for On Camera Image Processing
The Falcon-521CRS is an Onsemi AR0521 Color 5MP Low-Noise USB 3.2 Gen1 Camera, and Vadzo has validated its on-board ISP for on-camera image processing. A sensor produces raw data, and raw data is not a picture. Turning it into one takes demosaicing, color and contrast correction, gamma, noise reduction, lens correction, exposure control, and white balance, and where that work happens shapes cost, consistency, and effort. As an On-Camera Image Processing USB Camera and an Onboard Image Processing Camera, the Falcon-521CRS performs those steps inside the module with a high-performance ISP, and it exposes tuning controls through the standard UVC interface. It adds anti-flicker for 50Hz and 60Hz lighting, streams YUYV or MJPEG video, and captures BMP or JPEG stills. Large 2.2-micron pixels keep noise low before processing begins. Designed for security, retail, and medical device makers, it delivers a finished, consistent image from a single USB cable.
