Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) has again pushed out the edges of two of its flagship gold zones, reporting that 2026 drilling has grown both the Golden Gate and Bonanza zones at its Surebet discovery.
Golden Gate now covers 1.17 square kilometres, up 38% from 0.85 square kilometres, after step-out holes extended it 480 metres to the northeast and 540 metres to the southwest this year. The zone measures 1.6 kilometres east-west and 1.5 kilometres north-south, and hosts 18 stacked lodes up to 14 metres thick.
Bonanza meanwhile has expanded 19% to 1.51 square kilometres from 1.27, adding 750 metres to the southwest and 160 metres to the northeast. Its strike length now runs 1.8 kilometres in both the northwest-southeast and northeast-southwest orientations, across five lodes up to 19 metres thick.
Combined, the wider Surebet system on the company’s wholly owned Golddigger property has grown 12% to 2.01 square kilometres. Both zones remain open laterally and at depth.

“The footprint of high-grade gold mineralization at Surebet is truly unique, now at 2.01 Km2 area and approximately 800 meters of vertical relief comprising a series of stacked lodes/veins that are gently dipping (a good analogue is the Pogo Mine in Alaska), the Surebet discovery has few peers in the gold exploration sector,” said founder and Chief Executive Officer Roger Rosmus.
The fully funded campaign is roughly two-thirds through its planned 50,000 metres, with 59 of 98 holes and 34,990 metres completed across seven rigs. Every hole so far has hit quartz-sulphide mineralization, and 34 of them carry gold visible to the naked eye. The company is using directional drilling from single mother holes to test the stacked lodes more efficiently, and assays remain outstanding on a portion of the completed metres.
Recent results underpin the expansion. Drilling reported August 21 returned 7.38 g/t gold equivalent over 35.7 metres, including 19.51 g/t over 8.32 metres. Earlier in the month, the company reported 9.87 g/t gold over 5.00 metres and confirmed a 320 metre northeastern extension of Golden Gate.
Goliath Resources last traded at $1.80 on the TSX Venture.
